Tender is an expressive figurative portrayal of the tender moments within a family’s close bond and commitment. The colors are bold and strong, representing strength, determination, and the perseverance required to move through struggle. Hurricane Katrina was my devastation; today many people endure their own. The lesson learned is that pain continues and is hopefully overcome. What matters is the love we have and the love we share.
